Garðarshólmur’s first intern has arrived

Garðarshólmur’s first intern, Carolin Schill has arrived from Germany. Carolin comes from the Black Forest in Germany but is currently studying Ecosystems, Resilience and Governance at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. She also holds a masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim. Carolin will be working with the recently formed committee looking into updating the Icelandic law on soil conservation, created by the Minister for the Environment; Svandís Svavarsdóttir. We are very happy to have Carolin with us this summer and have no doubt her work will be invaluable for the committee and therefore Iceland as a whole.
